Roadshow

The roadshow presents the current nominated and award-winning projects of the German Ecodesign Award, i.e. the winners announced in December are presented in the following year at trade fairs, museums, design and environmental festivals as well as at conferences and conventions. We co-operate with partners in Germany and other European countries. The exhibition has already been shown in Bolzano, Tallinn, Salzburg, Paris, Vienna and Innsbruck, for example.

Kunstgewerbemuseum (Museum of Decorative Arts)

Our first exhibition stop this year takes place at the Kunstgewerbemuseum (Museum of Decorative Arts) in Berlin. From March 13 to June 25, we will present our annual roadshow “Thinking Ahead” featuring nominated and award-winning projects honored in December 2025.

The official opening was on March 12 at 6:30 PM, with a welcome by Director Sibylle Hoiman. Afterwards, Morgan-Lee Wagner from Revoltech gave a short talk about the project “LOVR™ – Circular Hemp Material”.

Design Zentrum Hamburg

From 29 June to 5 July, our roadshow will be at the Design Zentrum Hamburg. The exhibition is part of Hamburg Sustainability Week and will open with a vernissage on 29 June at 5 pm.

The talk on 3 July at 5 pm will focus on current issues such as AI, repair and the circular economy. Speakers include Dr Laura Spengler, Head of the ‘Sustainable Consumption Structures’ division at the German Environment Agency, Sebastian Daus from FixFirst with his project fix1today, which is part of the exhibition, and Milan Bergheim, the 2022 winner in the Young Talent category.

Museum Angewandte Kunst

From 16 October to 1 November, our exhibition will be on display in Frankfurt as part of World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026, in the foyer of the Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt.

The official opening will take place on 16 October. On this day, there will be a welcome address by Advisory Board Member Peter Post as well as a presentation by Levin Budihardjo Welim on his project “Amber – AI monitoring device”. The project was awarded in the Young Talent category in 2025.
