Folifora is a process for the production of ceramic containers. Thereby, rolled-out clay is laid on a hole template and moulded into a container using a trowel. Folifora is particularly efficient compared to conventional casting and turning techniques. The approach allows scraps and residuals to be wetted and re-used. The manufacturing process does not require electricity or any additional tools. Clay is an incredibly versatile, non-toxic raw material that is locally available almost everywhere. Thanks to unmixed processing, the containers are easily recyclable.
