In our exhibitions, we present good examples of ecodesign and demonstrate to a broad audience that excellent design and environmental compatibility are not a contradiction in terms.

In the annual exhibition at the Metropolenhaus, all participating projects that have passed the pre-evaluation by the expert panel and that are admitted to the jury session can be seen. After the jury has reviewed the entries, the exhibition is opened to the public. Also in 2024, following the jury session, it is planned to present the exhibition in the rooms of feldfünf in the Metropolenhaus.

All nominated and award-winning entries in the current competition are presented in a touring exhibition in the following year, which can be seen at trade fairs, in museums, at design and environmental festivals, and at conferences and conventions. We cooperate with partners in Germany as well as in other European countries.

Stations of the touring exhibition "Thinking ahead" in 2024

Salzburg University of Applied Sciences

The first station of our exhibition "Thinking ahead" is located
from April 17 to May 25 at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences at
Campus Kuchl. The university campus is surrounded by nature on the edge of the Tennengebirge. On May 23rd, a finissage will take place, providing a celebratory conclusion to the exhibition.

NOI Techpark Südtirol

From July 4 to August 1 our touring exhibition will be presented at the NOI Techpark. It will be complemented by the conference By Design and by Disaster of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano from July 11 to 14. The theme of the conference 'Power in Transformation' invites reflection on how we navigate power dynamics as we transition from the structures of capitalism and patriarchy towards a culture of community and care, and how design and art contribute to these transformations.
