The 5L future initiative, which comprises representatives from the wagon construction and supply industry, as well as shipping agents, rollingstock owners and railway transport companies, is developing concepts for Rail Freight Wagon 2030. Thanks to innovative features, these concepts are set to become a growth engine for rail freight. Quiet, light, strong, logistics-compatible and life cycle cost-oriented, the new rail freight transportation will contribute to transferring a greater amount of traffic to rail and to making this form of transport even more environmentally friendly and safe.
