Team Sonnenwagen Aachen

Sustainable mobility concepts are crucial to our future. Behind the Sonnenwagen Aachen team is a group of students from RWTH Aachen and Aachen University of Applied Sciences. Together, they have developed a solar vehicle that will take part in an emission-free race across Australia – the World Solar Challenge 2017. The development and realisation of the solar vehicle are the core elements of the project, and are driving innovation in the fields of lightweight construction, solar energy and driving strategy.
