The shoe is made from 95 % natural fibres, latex and oils. It is also designed as an assembly set, comprising a shank, sole and laces. The low-energy on-site production employs traditional techniques and is adapted to regional conditions. This encourages the use of bio-resources and promotes active protection of the rainforest through the cooperative participation of forest inhabitants.
