RECUP is a comprehensive deposit system for “coffee to go” in Germany: for a deposit of one euro, the coffee cup can be taken by the customer and later returned to any of the RECUP mug partners. The introduction of the returnable mug and the networking of partners prevents single-use waste and saves resources. The cups can be rinsed up to 500 times with no loss of quality, and they are light, unbreakable, tasteless, food safe and BPA free.
