Recreate Textiles

Industrial cotton waste is generally burned when disposed of. If re-use does indeed take place, it is usually in the form of a downgrading. The Recreate Textiles project, on the other hand, aims at an upgrading. Here, recycled waste materials are used as a resource for a line of fleeces as well as bio-based natural fibres. Further potential applications are being developed in cooperation with möve mbH, the Saxon Textile Research Institute and BASF's design factory.
