Mobility Cluster for Rural Areas
Julia Hunold
The "Mobility Cluster for Rural Areas" project connects local public transport, goods transport as well as mobile services in rural areas. All three types of transport are bundled into a single vehicle system. This saves resources and improves the capacity utilisation. The vehicles are electrically powered by renewable energy, which is generated directly in the local area. The Dorfladen 2.0 (Village Shop 2.0) serves both as a fuelling station and as a shop for local products. It is also a point of contact for local services.
