At the Fronhausen an der Lahn production site, the family-owned company Seidel operates one of the world’s first fully automated production lines for LED lamps. LED bulbs are resource-saving, energy-saving, have a long service life, and are hard-wearing. In addition to short delivery routes, Carus is notable for material savings of up to 65 percent and the elimination of mercury, glue and other pollutants, which in turn enormously increases recyclability.
