Golden Grass

The delicate stems of golden grass (Syngonanthus nitens) radiate a metallic shimmer and a natural golden colour, as if made from gold wire. The plant grows only in Jalapão in Brazil. KNOTTEN supplies hand-made products made from golden grass and 100 percent renewable resources – without the use of chemicals or pesticides, and in cooperation with regional craftspeople. For the region, this is a means of fighting poverty and of protecting flora and fauna.
