The crowdsweeper project aims at the development of autonomous drones for humanitarian ordnance clearance. In the long term, the devices are intended to handle all life-threatening tasks in the clearance of explosive ordnance. In the future, the project hopes to gain the sponsorship of companies and private individuals. These patrons will support the eventual real-world utilisation of the drones, and will receive direct feedback on the effects of their donation via an online portal.
