The shape of a water droplet inspired the developers to create a series of ventilators that are much quieter and require far less energy than conventional products. Because of high loads, production of fan wheels has traditionally depended on the use of metal. Thanks to the new composite material ZAmid, it is now technically feasible to create an ideally shaped fan wheel.
