CIRPLUS sees itself as a global marketplace for recycled materials and plastic waste. Via their digital platform, companies are able to network with one another at the interface of the circular economy. Standardisation, global tracking of material flows, laboratory tests and digital logistics chains all aim at creating transparency with regard to quantity, quality and price, and at solving many of the issues commonly faced by dysfunctional recyclate markets. The goal is to make recycled synthetic economically preferable to new production.
