SHAPES iN PLAY

BAZAAR is a platform for the design, production and distribution of customisable table objects. Through the use of a digital application, three basic porcelain elements serve as a basis for the design and creation of variants in other materials. A handicraft business from the BAZAAR network is subsequently commissioned with the production. With its modular design principles, BAZAAR emphasises the unmixed use of materials as well as local production. The project represents the coming together of craftsmanship and digital technology.
