AquaTerraPonik is a concept for crop cultivation in conjunction with edible fish breeding. Here, nutrient-rich wastewater from the fish farm serves as fertiliser for the plants. In turn, this purifies the water. The facility can produce vegetables, fruit and fish in a parallel process in a small amount of space. Because it is closed circuit, there is no need to use mineral fertilisers and pesticides.
