Printed circuit boards are found in almost every electronic device. Manufacturing them requires enormous amounts of energy and fossil resources, and they are practically impossible to recycle, with severe consequences for the environment. The start-up Leaftronics harnesses the unique properties of natural leaf skeletons to reinforce biodegradable polymer films as the basis for their innovative printed circuit boards.
