The Holz Lehmbau Campus Berlin (Timber and Clay Building Campus) is an innovation-driven living lab for climate-friendly construction using regional, renewable, and deconstructable materials such as wood, clay, straw, and paludiculture-based materials. Low-tech approaches, short supply chains, and the reuse of building components, such as reused concrete slabs for the foundations, make the campus a model for future-proof construction practice that can be deconstructed into pure material streams.
