The ‘Paludi harvesting machine’ enables the sustainable use of rewetted moorland and floodplains. Specially adapted technology prevents sinking on wet soils and promotes climate protection. The project creates new sources of income for farmers and strengthens regional economic cycles without harming the environment. At the same time, the potential of paludiculture is exploited and design options for sustainable machines are taken into account.
