NovaPoly™ is a novel, trademarked recycled polyester yarn. It is obtained from pre- and post-consumer textile waste and enriched with a additive. It is enhanced with an additive that speeds up the degradability in comparison to conventional polyester fibers, making it biodegradable in an anaerobic active microbial environment. From an ecological point of view, the closed fibre-to-fibre recycling process is particularly noteworthy.
