insectmatter develops circular everyday products based on insect-derived chitosan through regional synergies. Examples such as a door handle or table lamps available for hire in the catering industry demonstrate possible value creation models. The biopolymer binds regional by-products and at the same time links agriculture, industry and design into a production and recycling community in which the products can circulate.
